Yes! You need to check the location of the nearest tower of your network provider as the standard antenna can accept signal within 170 degrees. In case towers are located on the opposite side of your property and your antenna, you need to upgrade your system by adding a second antenna so you can receive signal from all locations.
Here’s a simple, quick test to check whether your place is suitable for a signal booster.
The only thing you should do is check your outside signal strength on your mobile phone.
Here’s how to do it:
All our products are of high-quality and are capable of simultaneously supporting multiple devices. The limit for each booster mainly depends on its output power or ‘dBs’. Below we have provided a list of devices and their support limit converted to dBs:
Estimations can also be made using this table:
Coverage in square meters | Number of supported users |
Up to 150 sq m | Up to 25 users |
Up to 300 sq m | Up to 50 users |
Up to 600 sq m | Up to 75 users |
Up to 1500 sq m | Up to 150 users |
With this simple and quick test, you can check whether your place is suitable for a signal booster or not. What you need to do is to check your outside signal strength on your mobile phone. Here are the steps to do that.
Thank you
Hi, how do I connect my phone to the booster? Do I need a connecting lead?
Is this product suitable for Aldi mobile?
Yes because the boosters that we have works based on frequencies.
What happens when OtherProviders changes tp 5g and then 6G? Will these boosters still be relevant and continue to do the job they were purchased for???John
Hi John, It will be dependent on the frequency that your provider will be using for 5g and 6g. If they use the same frequency definitely it would still work. Regards, Elena
What’s the difference between 1 band, 2 -3 band models?
Hi, thanks for your message. The difference is about how many frequencies the service you want to improve has to cover. It could be one which relies in the single band or more than one.
I live we’re there is only 2 bars of 3G and 1of 4g. Do you think this will work in my house
Hi Blake, Yes, for as long as you get at least one stable bar of outside signal, the booster will definitely work. Regards Elena
Hi, Does the internal antenna sit under the ceiling? It seems a little unsightly. Where within the home is it recommended it be placed? How do I find my closest tower. I’m with OtherProviders and my wife is with Vodaphone. We are in Springwood NSW.
Hi Chris, We recommend putting the internal antenna in the middle of your house under ceiling. Please call your provider for precise information of the nearest tower in your area. Regards, Elena
Hi Will this booster improve normal internet browser speed on my phone? At this stage I only get 1-2 bars and sometimes the browser times out or wont load because signal is low. I’m not so concerned about calls will this fix the problem? Thanks
Hi Javan, In order to recommend you the right option I would like to ask you several questions: 1. Do you have 3G or 4G? 2. How big is the area in square meters where you want to improve the signal? 3. Which is your network operator? Thanks, Lily
