Yes! You need to check the location of the nearest tower of your network provider as the standard antenna can accept signal within 170 degrees. In case towers are located on the opposite side of your property and your antenna, you need to upgrade your system by adding a second antenna so you can receive signal from all locations.
Here’s a simple, quick test to check whether your place is suitable for a signal booster.
The only thing you should do is check your outside signal strength on your mobile phone.
Here’s how to do it:
All our products are of high-quality and are capable of simultaneously supporting multiple devices. The limit for each booster mainly depends on its output power or ‘dBs’. Below we have provided a list of devices and their support limit converted to dBs:
Estimations can also be made using this table:
Coverage in square meters | Number of supported users |
Up to 150 sq m | Up to 25 users |
Up to 300 sq m | Up to 50 users |
Up to 600 sq m | Up to 75 users |
Up to 1500 sq m | Up to 150 users |
With this simple and quick test, you can check whether your place is suitable for a signal booster or not. What you need to do is to check your outside signal strength on your mobile phone. Here are the steps to do that.
Thank you

I have an external Ariel on my roof, and currently use it to plug into my mobile phone. would I be able to plug the external antenna into the mobile booster .
Hello, the booster we have boost the reception wirelessly.
Will this work on a boat when the signal could come from any direction ? What units will work with Telstra ?
Yes, it will. Do you want to boost voice and data?
Hey guys, is the internal and external antenna have a magnet on them and do you offer express shipping? Cheers
Hi Matthew, Thanks for reaching out. No it doesn't have and we also don't do express shipping. Delivery timeframe is 9-11 business days.
What would the ETA be for Western Australia
Hi Kathryn, Delivery would take 7-9 business days. You will receive an email about the tracking details once it's available. Thank you for doing business with us. Stay safe :)
Hi, Could you please confirm that the following: – Dual Band Booster – OtherProviders 3G & 4G – 300 sqm. (Power Line) (OtherProviders NextG) – listed on your site at $545 … supports the Telstra 3g and 4G networks. Thanks, John
Hello John, Yes, it will boost Voice and 4G. It works on 850/1800mhz and includes a powerful external antenna for better reception.
Two questions please. 1. Is the LPDA antenna the same thing as others refer to as a Yagi antenna? (If not, what is the difference?) 2. Can the external antenna be mounted in the roof space under a tiled roof or would the possibility of fairly high temerature there preclude that? Many thanks, Doug
Hello, Doug, both are powerful antennas that you need to have if you only get 1-3 bars of outside signal. External antenna should be installed on the roof with a clear line of sight to the tower.
Could I please have more detail on set up in regards to cable length/s? What items do the cables run between? i.e. where would I use the 5m & where would I use the 15m? Can you clarify how the “extra cable” works i.e. is it a stand alone additional cable to connect to included one/s? Thanks.
Hello Rebecca, 5m cable is for the inside antenna while the 15m cable is fro the outside antenna. if you have 2 storey house, you will need to add one internal antenna to install in the second floor.
